SOAR is an administration tool, developed and maintained by NES, designed to support and facilitate the appraisal process for doctors working in Scotland. It is accessed by appraisers and appraisees for completion and sharing of online forms and supporting documents, as well as tracking appraisal progress and history. It is also supported by local Health Board Administration teams and Appraisal Leads.
User Guides, under the Resources section, are provided to aid users in navigating SOAR. A separate FAQ dedicated to the more common problems encountered whilst using SOAR is also available in the FAQs section.
