SOAR deployment plans/dates

Dear colleagues,

Thank you for your patience as we progressed the development in the background. We have now firmed up our deployment plans and will tackle this in two stages, which unfortunately means we will take SOAR offline twice:

1. On 9th January from 4pm to 9pm, SOAR will be taken offline to allow the developers to transfer the database to a new setup.
2. Tentatively on 15th January from 9am to 1pm (depending on outcome of database transfer), SOAR will be taken offline to allow developers to deploy the appraisee and login changes.

We will organise a series of lunch time drop-in webinars to demo the changes and more importantly an opportunity to answer any questions you may have. Details will follow once we have confirmed the January 15th deployment plans.

We have also updated the Scottish Medical Appraisal and Revalidation Toolkit, as well as the SOAR user guides, to match up to the updated GMP changes and latest SOAR development. We will deploy these website changes alongside the SOAR changes in January.

The most important thing for you to action, if you have not already done so, is to create a Turas account and link it to SOAR - once the system changes are deployed, the only way to login to SOAR will be through a Turas account.
