This session will briefly cover three main areas:

1. What do we mean by neurodiversity (ND), and why is it important to know this?
2. Very brief overview of some neurodevelopmental conditions under the ND umbrella, understanding and approaching individual strengths and difficulties;
3. Carrying out an appraisal in a ND affirming way - how this process could be supported.
