The developers are now working on the homepage. There were pros and cons of both designs I shared previously so we’ve taken on board your comments and suggestions and are working on a merge/joint new version to try and catch the best of both worlds.
One of the features you all quite liked was a "mission statement" at the top of the homepage, reminding appraisees of the purpose of appraisal. I have come up with the below and would be grateful for your input on this:
Medical Appraisal is a confidential process between you and a trained colleague to reflect on your learning and development, supported by information provided by you, to discuss the whole range of your practice. The information and the reflective discussions will help inform the revalidation process to renew your licence to practice.
There can then be a “more” link that takes the user to our website: https://www.appraisal.nes.scot.nhs.uk/what-is/appraisal/
The aim is to keep this statement short (no more than 2 or so lines) and it would appear at the top of the home page as per below mock up:
What are your thoughts? Can we shorten the above proposal? Is it succinct enough? Is there a different wording that would be better?
Please send your comments and feedback by replying to William's email no later than June 28th. Thank you.
