Patient feedback and Colleague feedback are both required once in a 5-year revalidation cycle.
You don't have to do both of them in the same appraisal year, but we also wouldn’t suggest you leave either of these until the last minute as both require a bit of time to organise.
The format in Patient feedback is similar to the sections before, with function to upload documents and record your reflections (1), and signposting of further guidance (2).
More commonly referred to as PSQ, which stands for Patient Satisfaction, or Patient Survey Questionnaire, PSQ can typically take several months to organise.
Whilst you can do this at any time in your revalidation cycle, you should avoid undertaking PSQ in your revalidation year.
If you are unsure where to begin, reach out to your health board’s appraisal team to start with, they will be able to redirect you to local resources.
