Locally employed doctors (LED) / Clinical Fellows (CFs) are working at trainee level and are not part of the ARCP process that includes the appraisal for trainees.
Resources for supporting appraisal of this group differs from board to board depending on resources available. A pilot project is due to take place in early 2025 with a view to a nationally agreed approach across the boards.
We will update this section of the toolkit as and when plans have been formalised.
