If you are involved in any professional activities that are not covered in other parts of your portfolio, you should provide evidence of periodic performance review, with identification of learning and development needs, and plans to meet these.
You may find it helpful to include a separate document to cover these activities. If you are employed in another post, it can be helpful to bring an agreed account of your appraisal to your employer, identifying unmet learning needs or administrative support which are required to help you fulfil your duties in the post.
Remember, you are to discuss your whole practice at appraisal, not just your NHS work.
For GPs with additional roles you may find the separate toolkit of help.
